Let’s Talk About Energy Leaks

Are you holding yourself back through the ways you’re allowing your energy to leak out? I have been getting the hit to speak to this, for a couple of weeks now, so here it is! 

An energy leak is really anything that you’ve allowed to go unaddressed. While you may be unconsciously avoiding it, it lingers in the background, draining your life force energy. 

This is especially common for those of us who tend towards avoidant coping mechanisms.

An energy leak could be anything from an unpaid bill or invoice to a conversation that you’re avoiding that you know you need to have.

Other examples, ways that energy leaks show  up could be :

  • You having clarity around something but not owning it fully — feelings around a relationship, a career shift, etc.
  • Not completing something that you know you want to complete or continuing to neglect something that you’ve committed to.
  • Having scattered energy due to a lack of focus or lack of support.

So why is it important to look at our energy leaks? if we’re allowing these things to linger in the background, we’re actually giving our power away to fear. if we’re vibrating fear, that’s inhibiting our ability to experience and vibrate higher frequencies of love, joy, peace, abundance, prosperity, gratitude, etc., to the fullest extent. while these higher frequencies restore our energy, lower frequencies such as fear, shame & guilt drain our energy.

When identifying energy leaks, ask yourself this: what is the core fear or reason that I am avoiding this? 

It’s often these micro-energy leaks that accumulate and communicate our vibration to the universe, inhibiting our manifestations from coming through. patch up your energy leaks and watch how your magnetism increases. 

I invite you to take the time this week to journal and sit with lingering energy leaks that are keeping you held down. write them out, look at the underlying fear, and unpack it. then, make a plan to address those energy leaks one by one.

Is your energy leaking?

If you're someone who is pushing through life with the mercy of caffeine and energy drinks, the chance is you're having trouble managing your energy and unintentionally letting it leak out unnoticed.

So how do we identify where the leaks occur? just thoughtfully answer the following questions:

  1. Are you not getting enough rest?
  2. Do you skip exercise often?
  3. Do you often skip meals or not getting enough nutrient-dense foods?
  4. Do you find yourself saying yes to requests when you actually mean no?
  5. Are you trying to do everything by yourself without asking for help?
  6. Are you struggling with managing your money and often stressed about it?

Each 'yes' you give to a question is a hole in your energy tank that you need to plug solely trying to manage your time is not enough anymore, you should start focusing on managing your energy instead.

Are you soul tired?  

You may have experienced a constant drain of energy where you want to sleep all day and when you are awake you are still so tired. 

Living in a constant fog and feeling low.  Even the unwanted trip to the grocery store that you get annoyed with or the constant house cleaning is overwhelming. 

How do you get out of that? Give some attention to yourself. Look after yourself in mind, body, and soul. It may take looking at the thing that is draining you and making some changes. Be honest with yourself. 

Clean up your energy leaks. Take a look at the things that are draining you on an emotional level. 

It is ok to process emotions. It is also ok to laugh (even at yourself) have fun, nourish yourself, get outdoors, and move your body. It may feel forced at first yet it will naturally happen too. 

The true healing will happen when you dig into it. It is ok not to feel ok. Even though it may feel lonely, you are not alone. Someone somewhere feels that way or has felt that way.  You my friend, are loved and worth healing.

Solitude is the foundation of self-love. 

When you spend time in solitude your connection with your spirit gets stronger and you start hearing intuition over fear. Your energy field becomes powerful When you stop surrounding yourself with vibes that don’t resonate with your own frequency. When you are no longer around people who drain your energy you are more connected to your true self and your intuition becomes your GPS. There is no longer any confusion as you start experiencing a deeper clarity in every aspect of your life. 

Start overflowing with love and because you are radiating love, you’ll start attracting love. You can’t love and understand others unless you love and understand yourself. 

You will see a huge energetic shift and transformation as soon as you start vibrating at the frequency of deep gratitude, and acceptance. Appreciate life. Vibrate higher.
